So…since when can the sonic screwdriver, like, shoot stuff?
I know The Doctor made the “there’s an app for that joke” before shooting the Cybermat, but still…since when is the sonic an actual weapon? Because The Doctor is tougher and darker now, the sonic has adapted to this new personality facet?
I think one could argue that because this is a Doctor 200 years after the one we are used to, he could have modified his screwdriver to do what it did. At first it bothered me but upon the confirmation of my future Doctor prediction, I was able to let it slide.
